The Tabletop Curra XL is a large-format table lamp crafted by hand using simple, ancient tools from Egyptian gypsum alabaster — a statement piece that fills a room with warm, amber light filtered through ancient stone. Its generous scale makes it as much a sculpture as a light source.
Gypsum alabaster is a light and translucent material that creates a diffused, warm glow when lit — and appears as a sculptural stone object in daylight. Each lamp is unique in its natural veining and tone, shaped entirely by hand by Egyptian craftsmen in a collaboration between Danish design and one of the world's oldest stone-working traditions.
